As part of JIMENA’s Journey to the Middle East series, in July, 2021 JIMENA hosted a conversation with the Yemeni human rights organization, INSAF: Defending Freedom and Minorities about religious minority rights in Yemen. Participants learned more about the situation a of Levi Marhabi, a Jewish man detained by the Iranian-backed Houthis rebels in Yemen for four years, despite a court ordering his release in September 2019.
