The Cookbook That Became a Legend
Compiled by the Sisterhood of Deal Synagogue in New Jersey, Deal Delights began as a ring-bound batch of Syrian Jewish recipes and grew into a communal treasure, selling tens of thousands of copies for local charities. Long out of print, the "Red Cookbook" is still found in Syrian Jewish kitchens today.
