JIMENA’s boards and committees bring together leaders and experts who contribute their experience, guidance, and expertise to advance our mission.
Advocacy Committee
JIMENA’s international Advocacy Committee brings together scholars, attorneys, policy experts, activists, rabbis, and community leaders working to advance recognition, rights, redress, and restitution for Jewish refugees from the Middle East and North Africa and their descendants. Committee members contribute expertise to JIMENA’s policy and advocacy efforts and participate in briefings, consultations, and other engagements with government officials, policymakers, and communal institutions.

JIMENA’s Advisory Board brings together accomplished professionals, thought leaders, and experienced communal leaders who share a commitment to advancing Sephardic and Mizrahi voices, histories, heritage, and rights. Members support JIMENA by contributing their expertise, networks, and strategic guidance to key initiatives and organizational priorities.
Executive Board
JIMENA’s Executive Board provides governance and strategic oversight for the organization. Working closely with JIMENA’s executive leadership, board members uphold the organization’s mission, provide fiscal oversight, guide long-term strategy, and help ensure JIMENA has the resources and institutional strength to advance its work.
